OneFromSean is the project of Sean — a songwriter, guitarist, and storyteller who writes music that doesn't fit neatly into a box. Drawing from blues, soul, rock, and gospel, his songs explore faith, doubt, love, and the human condition with unflinching honesty.

Sean grew up surrounded by music — from the church pews where gospel rang out on Sunday mornings to the late-night blues clubs where the real conversations happened. Those two worlds never quite reconciled, and that tension became the engine of his songwriting.

He picked up the guitar at age 6, and by 11 was taking formal lessons. Then at 15, an eye injury changed everything. Unable to read music the conventional way, Sean adapted — and discovered he could play entirely by ear. That turning point didn't stop him. It freed him.

Self-taught from that moment forward, Sean didn't stop at rhythm guitar. He taught himself lead guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards — all by ear. No sheet music, no instructor. Just listening, feeling, and playing until it was right.

His songwriting process is as organic as his playing. An idea sparks — a melody, a feeling, a line — and Sean builds from there. He performs and records each instrument and vocal himself, layering part by part until the composition is complete. His way of writing music down is to record it. He refines each element until every piece fits, and only then does he release it to the world.

His debut single "If I Was Jesus" is a prime example: an edgy blues track that asks hard questions about faith, recognition, and human nature. Would you know him if you met him today? Would you be his friend — or kill him again?
